Who is Bruderheim Community Church:

Bruderheim Community Church is a Non-denominational, Evangelical congregation of believers serving the community of Bruderheim and surrounding rural area. We are passionate about Bible based spiritual learning and fellowship. We are a welcoming, caring, Christian community of faith, proclaiming Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord and the Bible as God’s Truth.

We invite people through God’s grace, to come to know Jesus Christ, commit their lives to Him and become His fully-devoted followers, gifted by the Holy Spirit and equipped to serve Him in the church and in the world. As we journey through this process, we are praying for a pastor that is able to work along and be supported by a faithful vibrant church board, an active admin assistant and the entire congregation.

General Position Description:

Our church is searching for a lead pastor to shepherd the members of our congregation, discipling, guiding and supporting us as we pursue God’s direction and calling. We are seeking an individual who is committed to leading with moral character and integrity. Someone who is passionate about providing genuine care to all of our congregation and the surrounding area. An individual called to lead our congregation toward the betterment of God's Kingdom in the community of Bruderheim.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leadmeaningfulandinsightfulworshipservices.FaithfullypreachBiblically based sermons with life application challenges.
  • Encouragecongregationalgrowthbothspirituallyandpracticallywithinthe church and the larger community of Bruderheim
  • Fulfill pastoral responsibilities as needed, such as weddings,Funerals,Leading communion and other celebrations.
  • Engageandjourneywiththoseinthehospitalandmemberswhoareshut-in 5. Participateinbothchurchandcommunityevents
  • GuideandminstertotheboardbyattendingMeetings
  • OtherMinistryresponsibilitiestobediscussed

Desired Qualities:

  • A Passionate Relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Past mission or ministry experience would be an asset
  • Relational, personal, practical, energetic
  • Sensitive
  • Good teacher and encourager
  • Relating the Bible to today's society, understanding the gospel as truth and relating that to the people
  • Able to fellowship and support members of all ages

Qualifications:

  • A degree or working towards a degree from a Theological institution
  • Applicant must be recognized and affirmed by a religious governing body

This is a full-time position. Compensation to be fairly based on training and experience.
