Who We Are:  
Scarborough Community Alliance Church (ScommAC) is an English speaking church based in Scarborough, worshipping God as one family under Christ. We are evolving from being a predominately second generation Chinese Church to being a diverse body of believers with the heart to reach our neighbours and to bring them to a personal and loving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Position: Children’s Ministry Director/Pastor           
Status: Full-time, permanent with health benefits 
Hours: 35 hours per week

ScommAC is seeking a Children’s Ministry Director/ Pastor who will be empowered to provide leadership and overall ministry direction for all aspects of Children’s Ministry.  Currently, we have approximately 30 volunteers and 40 children in this growing ministry. In this position, you will be partnering with volunteers, leaders, staff members and parents to implement Children’s Ministry programs that disciple children and help families live missionally in the community. This position will also include delivering training, communicating God’s Word, executing outreach initiatives, and performing administrative duties.

Required Qualifications:
·       Has a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a passionate, growing, personal relationship with Him
·       Possess a sense of God’s calling to lead in Children’s Ministry
·       Demonstrates a passion to mentor children and help families live missionally in their community
·       Be willing to be approved for licensing by the Eastern Canadian District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. (Note: The candidate would have to be approved for ministry first by the District before being offered the position)

Education And Experience:
·       Completed an undergraduate degree
·       Minimum of 5 years of children’s ministry volunteer and professional experience
·       Completed some Theological training
