Departmental Coordinator

Department – Biblical Counselling

The Departmental Coordinator will carry out the mission of Harvest Bible Chapel as he or she is responsible for overseeing the operations and administrative support for the Biblical Counselling department. The heart of this role is to use gifts of administration and organization to connect individuals in our church with appropriate care so that they can be shepherded and discipled according to their specific needs. This individual will have a strong desire to live out Matthew 22:37-39 for the glory of God.

ROLE

  • Reports to Executive Assistant to Executive Pastor of Ministry Development
  • Works closely with the Pastor of Counselling Ministries
  • Responsible for providing administrative support for Pastor of Counselling Ministries, Biblical Counsellors and Lay Counsellors (calendar management, scheduling, resource management)
  • Overseeing processes for Biblical Counselling including intake and care plan development
  • Coordinate logistics pertaining to Premarital Counselling, Heart Resurgence, Grief Share and Biblical Counselling events
  • Uphold the mission and vision of Harvest Oakville
  • A heart for using administrative gifts to advance Kingdom work through the Biblical Counselling department
  • Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years in administrative role
