Part-Time Ministry Assistant Job Posting

Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church (ECCC) is a growing church located in Middleton, NS.  We are committed to be a community who know Jesus intimately, who grow to be like Him, and who intentionally go in love and show His good news.  With the growth we are experiencing, and in order to see our vision of ‘becoming a church of 100s that influences 1000s’, we are seeking to expand our staff with a part-time Ministry Assistant.  We are planning for a start date of September 1, 2017

The Ministry Assistant will be involved in many aspects of the function and ministry of ECCC. As such, full membership of Emmanuel Church will be expected. The Ministry Assistant will act primarily to assist the pastor where asked, but will also have tasks that will require one to work with independence and integrity. The successful applicant must be adaptable to work multiple tasks and will also be involved in specific ministries in the church at different capacities as the job allows. This position is very important in the sense that the ministry assistant will often be the first contact for people contacting or entering the church.
