TYPE OF POSITION:          Drummond House – Assistant Program Manager


JOB CLASSIFICATION:     Part-time 10 hours / week with potential for growth


REPORTS TO:                       Program Manager of Eagle’s Nest Ass. Of Waterdown


WAGES:                                 TBD


Coaching Position


Drummond House is looking for an individual to assist the Program Manager with the Residential Program at Drummond House.


Using the methodology of Drummond House coaching support, this role will assist resident women in the development of their recovery programs and the implementation and achievement of their goals and objectives.


This position is designed to initially designed to work 10 hours with the potential to expand as the need grows. The schedule will be varied depending on the need in the home.


Position Summary:


Reporting to the Program Manager - this position will be expected to:


Support Program Manager with the intake and on-boarding of new residents
Develop personalized programs with individual residents they work with
Meet with assigned residents on a weekly basis to ensure goals and objectives are being met
Organize and manage volunteers to fulfill various functions as required for each resident
Meet with the Children’s Program Manager collaboratively around any children’s program needs in support of residents.
Occasional group facilitation
Ensure all reporting requirements are met


The position will be responsible for the following administrative activities:


1. Ensure all files are kept up to date with information for emergencies

2. Acquire any required permissions and approvals

3. Follow policies and procedures regarding documentation of issues/ incidents

4. Support Program Manager with the implementation of Plan to Protect

5. Ensure all confidentiality requirements are followed and enforced.




Position Specifications:

·    Authentic lifestyle demonstrating consistent character, transparency and high integrity

·    In full agreement with the Vision, Mission Statements, Values and Beliefs of Eagles Nest Association of Waterdown

·    Completed Social Worker Degree or Phycology Degree or equivalent post graduate degree pertaining to coaching/counselling

·    Experience of 2 – 5 years in the field

·    Able to work well with other staff in a busy environment

·    Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills

·    Self-starter that is highly motivated

·    Valid Driver’s Licence with access to a vehicle

·    Complete understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
