ASSISTANT PASTOR – WORSHIP, YOUNG ADULTS, & ADMINISTRATION

JOB OVERVIEW: Worship, Young Adults, Administration – Full Time.

The main focus of this position will be leading and equipping teams to lead people in worship at the north campus.  The balance of time will be spent overseeing the young adult ministry and assisting with administration in the main office.

Remuneration:  full-time salary

Benefits: Eligible following successful three-month probationary period

REQUIRED SKILLS

  1. Skilled as a musician and worship leader with an emphasis on contemporary worship.
  2. Able to lead people through a strategic vision.
  3. Embodies the following staff team values: Work Ethic, Teachability, Humility, Resilience, Sense of Humour, Culturally relevant, Flexible.
  4. Post Secondary Degree or Diploma
  5. Minimum three years full-time paid employment
  6. Insured and licensed vehicle operator with access to a vehicle
  7. Current Police Reference or Criminal Records Check available upon request

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Plan and execute weekly worship services and teams (including: instrumentally and vocally leading the congregation)
  2. Recruit, audition, equip and train new worship team members
  3. Administrate schedules, practices and team meetings
  4. Oversee and lead weekly young adult ministry
  5. Assist church office staff in administration duties (online accounts, reception, internal communication, etc)
  6. Perform other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Lead Pastor
