Job Description: These CORE leaders are energetic, positive Christian role models with competence to teach the Bible and prepare relevant lesson plans for the appropriate age. Must have a passion for encouraging youth to have a deeper walk with God. They will work together with the Youth Min Program Director to create a compelling, engaging, energetic Youth Min program at MBC. YAC (completed grade 8-12), RIOT (completed grade 6 & 7), and XT (completed grade 4-5).

Their responsibilities include: working alongside of and training their Frontline helper; preparing and leading morning Bible studies and program; preparing and leading events (worship, prayer, Bible teaching, activities, hangouts) that engage students. Each leader will be expected to minister in both a group and one-on-one setting, as they seek to be a Christ-like witness and encouragement to the youth they serve. A demonstrated spiritual maturity is absolutely needed, *Must be at least 18

MORE THAN A SUMMER JOB

Muskoka Bible Centre's seasonal staff participate in Stepping Stones, a 2-4 month residential discipleship experience, which aims to bring youth towards maturity in Christ by Renewing their relationship with God, Connecting them to a healthy community, and Equipping them to do God's work. We recruit 100 + youth (15-25 yrs) for our spring/summer program. We provide life-changing experiences through practical service work, intentional training, leadership development and an encouraging community of believers. It is our hope to build up a new generation of God-directed leaders and equip all participants to actively serve the Lord in their home communities.
