Position Description

LBCM Koinonia Camp is about creating a Godly and stimulating environment for our young people to learn and play together. We want to see our young people motivated by an invigorating journey that focuses on personal and leadership development. Young people will experience engaging activities and amazing Bible stories. (“Train a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not turn from it” (Proverbs 22:6)).

LBCM Koinonia has 2 tracks: the Children Track and Leadership Track. The Children Track focuses on helping children develop healthy social-emotional skills. In a child-friendly and fun environment, children will learn how to interact with other people, and understand and control their own emotions.

In the children track, we are hiring the following position:

Job Title: Coordinator

Number of positions available: 1

Commitment: Training is July 3-6, 2018. Camp is from July 9-August 10, 2018 (Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm).

Where: Logos Baptist Church (Milliken) 133 Old Kennedy Rd. Markham, ON L3R 0L5.

Position Description: The coordinator is to assist with the planning and implementation of camp programs. Also, the coordinator is to supervise the camp staff and volunteers.

Job Description:

- Assist with the planning.

- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational needs of the camp.

- Provide support to staff and volunteers.

- Provide spiritual guidance to staff and volunteers.

- Assist in briefing and debriefing sessions with staff and volunteers.


- Must be a born again Christian.

- Desire to teach children God's Word.

- Ability to plan and carry out a structured program within a team.

- Teachable, humble, and carries an attitude of selflessness and servanthood.

- Available to attend training: July 3-6, 2018.

- Available to be at the camp: July 9-August 10, 2018.

- Emergency first aid training: Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
