We seek to be innovative and we delight in doing things differently than they are normally done.  We are currently searching for a remarkable Administrative Assistant to join our team.

General Summary: provide broad administrative and clerical support to 2 lawyers and firm clients to ensure service-oriented, effective and efficient operations.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • provide administrative support to 2 business lawyers
  • update and maintain shared calendars (e.g. Outlook)
  • receive and process file opening and management
  • maintain both physical and electronic document systems
  • manage and maintain accounting functions (e.g., invoicing, expenses), maintaining and ordering office/kitchen supplies
  • other general/administrative duties as assigned  

What are we looking for:

  • a heart of service – that enjoys serving and helping others 
  • a post-secondary degree
  • at least 2 years of law firm administrative experience, preferably in a business law firm environment
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • experience with PCLaw and Worldox an asset
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • superior ability to multitask and strong organization skills
