  • Assist the truck driver in checking the information slips in the morning and to determine the most economical and effective route for the day’s pick-ups
  •  Assist the truck driver with picking up and delivering of donations back to the store (clothing, furniture and other household goods)
  • Placing of items on the truck in a way to prevent damage during transportation
  • Lifting heavy items in a safe manner
  • Greet donors in a polite, friendly and helpful manner
  • Ability to turn down unacceptable items in a courteous manner
  • Place donations in the proper area of sorting room
  • Assist the driver in the removal of garbage to the dump
  • Assist in keeping the truck neat and clean, inside and out.
  • To assist in placing of furniture in store
  • Receiving donations with a smile and a thank you
  • Place garbage and unusable merchandise into the truck or waiting area
  • Keep all aisles clear of excess furniture


  • Completion of High School
  •  Able to lift over 50 pounds
  •  Clear criminal records check
  •  Good communication skills
  •  WHMIS and Armatus Training an asset

HOURS:  Up to 12 hours a week
