~~Beulah Alliance Church invites applications for the temporary position of full time (40 hours/week) Administrative Assistant at our West Campus location.

As a member of our administrative support team this position is responsible to provide administrative support to our Adult Ministries department. 

The Administrative Assistant is responsible to/for:
• Work cooperatively with all other support staff to provide overall administrative support for the office as necessary
• Create and manage new systems as required
• Book facilities for events and activities
• Record, transcribe, and distribute minutes of team meetings as assigned
• Update various databases
• Use office systems (i.e. EMS, CCB, Access databases, copiers, telephones)
• Attend meetings as required
• Prepare and/or edit internal and external letters, memos and mass emails
• Maintain and update electronic and hard copy files and records

The successful candidate will have/be:
• Graduate from a post-secondary institution with a diploma or degree in administration support or 5+ years related work experience
• General understanding of mission, goals, and priorities of Beulah Alliance Church
• Able to manage multiple tasks while working in a fast paced environment
• Able to organize time and work independently
• Adaptable, flexible and accepting of change
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement projects
• Able to exercise good judgment, show initiative and be proactive
• Excellent computer skills including demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, and Outlook) and familiarity with database programs
• Able to work in a large, multi-staff setting with a desire to support and assist
• Primary spiritual gifts: administration and helps
