Position Purpose Summary: To help with the daily responsibilities of the Thrift Store


  • Cashier is responsible for daily float, balancing register at end of day
  • Must assist in all areas of the store i.e. backroom, floor, donation area
  • Must be able to work Saturdays
  • Maintain a neat and tidy working environment
  • May be required to assist Driver on deliveries when needed
  • Handle customer issues in a professional manner


  • High School Diploma
  • Retail experience an asset
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Excel in customer service
  • Must be able to take direction
  • Must be able to maintain a pleasant and friendly working environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be available to work on Saturdays

HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

SALARY: $14.00 - $14.18 per hour
