Christar Canada Mobilization Centre Director

Christar Canada Mobilization Centre Director

Company: Christar Canada
Contact Person: Rev. Aaron LeGrow - President
PO Box 20164
St. Catharines, Ontario , L2M 7M7

Position Description

The Christar Canada Mobilization Centre is seeking a successor to become our next Director and chief executive officer. The role of the Director is of utmost importance to the success of Christar Canada. It is our ambition to find the man called by God who can lead our organization to the next level in fulfilling the mission set before us.

Our HIstory and Identity

Christar is committed to planting Bible-based multiplying churches where there is no witness of the gospel. By equipping partner churches, mobilizing Canadian missionaries, providing member care, and being devoted to prayer, we are seeing God fulfill His vision for Christar year after year.

By bringing the hope of Christ to least-reached peoples, our desire is that long after we have gone, reproducing bodies of believers will be left behind! While one or two believers may be dependent upon a worker, an established church is independent of the worker and in turn becomes part of the worldwide body of Christ.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Canadian Director

The Chief Executive Officer’s primary responsibility is to lead Christar to glorify God by establishing churches among the least-reached Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims and other Asians worldwide.

The Canadian Director under the accountability of the Canadian Mobilization Centre (CMC) Board is responsible to see that Christar Canada:

  • Mobilizes workers from among conservative churches to the least-reached peoples
  • Administrates the necessary sending functions of the centre
  • Ensures the funding and finances of CMC operations and the Canadian missionaries
  • Cares for the staff and missionaries so that they are able to minister effectively
  • Assembles the necessary staff to accomplish the aforementioned functions

Critical Leadership Requirements

The role of the Canadian Mobilization Director is of utmost importance to the success of Christar Canada. Due to this reality, the Board of Directors has set four leadership traits that must be evident in the track record of the candidate. These traits are what the Board believes are required to take Christar to the next level in its mission.
