Position Description

Major responsibilities are they supervision/planning or everyday duties to be fulfilled Including but not limited to the following responsibilities:

Guest Services:

  • Being present at the front desk to serve guests by completing tasks such as answering general questions and passing on information or directing guests to appropriate staff (ie. Host, Maintenance, Kitchen etc.)
  • Supporting Recreational Program team in the communication of events, processing program sales and providing guests with scheduling information.
  • Overseeing the nursery program during Family Camp as directed by the Children’s Ministry Coordinators.
  • Performing cleaning tasks, as required.
  • Serving guests in program facilitation as requested by the Recreational Program Coordinator and approved by the Registrar

​​Administrative and Retail:

  • Office email & phone - responding & routing of calls
  • Supporting the Registrar during incoming and outgoing registration periods (ie. preparing medical binders, distributing information to the appropriate departments, preparing camper sign-out, checking in/out guests, setting up in-house accounts etc)
  • Operating the Point of Sale system (Square). Handling cash, serving guests, balancing cash drawers, processing transactions, managing inventory, processing payments etc.
  • Filing, inputting and cleaning up data in the camp registration system.
  • Working with the Finance Director to prepare weekly financials.
  • Opening the Spin Shop (retail store) and serving customers. Operating the POS system, processing transactions and taking payments for both the Tuck Shop & the Spin Shop.
  • Regular cleaning and stocking of the Spin Shop.
  • Completing administrative tasks requested by the Registrar, Office Manager, Finance Director & Executive Director as needed. 

Working Conditions:

  • Provision of staff accommodation and meals for the duration of the work term stated in the official job offer.
  • Equipment (sound, sport, administration) and materials will be available as either equipment on- hand or as consumable materials according to budgets.
  • Office space with computer and telephone access
