The Executive Director (E.D.) has full responsibility of the NPC’s day-to-day operations. The E.D. will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for NPC staff, volunteers, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. The primary areas of responsibility will be administrative, development of community relations/public relations (fundraising), pastoral care of staff and volunteers and program development and oversight.
The Executive Director will be committed to the NPC mission and agree with the NPC Statement of Faith and all NPC’s policies. The E.D. will be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a relationship with a local church having a theology consistent with that of the Norfolk Pregnancy and Family Resource Centre. Desirable qualifications include a diploma, bachelors or masters degree in a related field and/or three years management experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational management, and spiritual leadership. Experienced in public relations, fundraising, and having past successes working with a board of directors is also desired.
