Position Description

RC Education Programs

JFJ Hope Centre (JFJ), founded in 1948, is a thriving organization with a passion for children and families in our community.

We believe that strong families build a strong world, and that faithfully extending God’s love will enrich our community now and for future generations.

Our RC Programs equip youth to flourish as they navigate their world. The programs provide youth with the tools to examine their values, evaluate relationships and make wise decisions for their futures.  Examples of topics include: dating relationships, life transitions, pornography, self-image and more.  We provide dynamic, interactive presentations to schools, youth groups and other community organizations.

We are currently seeking facilitators for the RC program.


  • Working with the facilitator team and Coordinator to present dynamic presentations and retreats for youth in school and youth group settings
  • Facilitating either workshops or retreats to groups of 15- 40 youth on the topics of healthy relationships, sexual decision making, self-esteem, pornography, love and marriage and life transitions.
  • Engage youth in interactive games and discussion
  • Model sexual integrity in speech and conduct

Qualifications and skills:

  • Degree/Diploma or working completing in Psychology, Social Work, Child and Youth Work, Youth Ministry, education or related field
  • Have a valid Criminal Record Check
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups
  • Day time availability for in school presentations
  • Flexible schedule and available to travel within the GTA
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Team player
  • Currently living out a life of sexual integrity
  • A strong, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
