We are Canada’s leader in providing faith and values media content for people of all ages. Crossroads plays a vital role as a credible Christian voice in secular media. Our media assets are targeted, over the next 3 years, to engage 10 million people a year under the age of 50 with the life giving message of Jesus. Crossroads produces life-changing media content including TV programs, documentaries, children's programs and reality series and broadcasts on air, on line and through Castle our streaming platform. We also uniquely provide for direct viewer engagement for prayer and spiritual conversations by phone, chat and text with more than 500,000 contacts a year and growing.
We are currently in a new season of funding growth, and we are looking for a Manager of Major Gifts to take the lead on our new, ambitious major gift giving strategy, and help expand the scope of our work.
Major Gift Program Manager:
The core objective of this role is to implement the strategic direction of our major gift campaigns and oversee all major gift and foundation proposals, from research stage through presentation, delivery, and tracking.
In the Major Gift Program Manager role, you will play an integral part in stewarding our fundraising initiatives. You will guide key projects forward, serving as the right hand of our Chief Development Officer, while coordinating the efforts of our major gifts campaign volunteers and staff partner representatives. We’re looking for someone with strong project management skills, capable of driving results and motivating a team. You’ll also need to be highly articulate and professional with the ability to intuitively sense potential in our major donor base.
This is a full-time, permanent role primarily working weekdays out of our office in Burlington. You will have some flexibility to work remotely. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. We also offer comprehensive benefits.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree in business, communications, or related field
- 5+ years in a professional fundraising role
- Proven experience working in a major gifts department
- Experience researching prospects, preparing proposals, and project delivery
- Proficient using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM fundraising software
- Experience leading a team is an asset
