Position Description

BFM Foundation (Canada) is a national Christian organization with over 52 Mission Thrift Stores across Canada.  The net revenue from all Mission Thrift Stores is devoted to the Joint Ministry of BFM Foundation (Canada) and Bible League Canada.  These funds are used to establish adult and children’s literacy programs, church planter training, and distribute Bibles in many places around the world.  The stores operate primarily be dedicated volunteers.

Mission Thrift Store – London is currently seeking a Part-Time Pickup-Delivery Coordinator who understands the vision and purpose of BFM Foundation Canada.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience working with Volunteers
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical labour
  • Must be over 25 years old
  • Ability to safely operate 16Ft cube van
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Display a high level of trustworthiness and integrity


Labour and warehouse experience in a retail setting; experience with non-profit/voluntary sector would be considered an asset.

Working Conditions: 

The Pick-up Delivery Coordinator will be working in a labour position within the store and when out on the road with the truck working both indoors and outdoors.

Salary Expectations: 

This is a permanent part-time hourly position with compensation that is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.  The position is currently based on 24 hours per week
