Position Description

The Community Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating community outreach events organized by the Canadian Community Alliance Network a branch of Passion To Reach Ministries during the contract period.

This position is a 9-week contract position for 30hrs/week.

Pay rate $16/hr

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the oversight of all outreach events and initiatives.
  • Manage calendar of events, schedule meetings with various community partners, leaders, volunteers and sports camps counselors.
  • Recruit volunteer teams to assist at various community events.
  • Maintain relationships with the organization's network.
  • Respond to requests from community organizations in a timely fashion, ensuring the highest level of customer service, professionalism, integrity and follow through.
  • Responsible for the planning and implementation of all Community Outreach Events including creating a strategic plan that includes budget, action steps, timelines and volunteer needs.
  • Assist the Director with community workshops, sports camps and training sessions, including attending community appearances.
  • Plan programs from start to completion, involving deadlines, milestones, and processes.
  • Assist with the marketing needs of all Community Outreach Events and programs to include but not limited to coordinating graphic design, web postings, social media management and solutions for print.
  • Supervise all program and volunteers to provide feedback and resolve complex problems.
  • Assist with the writing of grants to achieve fundraising goals.
