Position Description

Job Objective

Produce features and other short-form segments/media for distribution on multiple media platforms such as CBA’s television program, 700 Club Canada, and online properties.

Duties and Tasks

  • Meet production needs for television programs and online products as assigned
  • Write, produce, and post-produce stories, interviews, set-up pieces, or other material as needed
  • Coordinate pre-production, writing, shooting, editing, and post-production of stories, and/or programs, ensuring that all deadlines are met for various media projects
  • Record voice-overs and provide other on camera support as needed
  • Establish and follow a production schedule and meet deadlines
  • Keep and distribute accurate records for all projects
  • Transcribe and log videos as needed
  • Maintain equipment and keep equipment log up to date
  • Coordinate production trips, handle travel details and assume accounting responsibility for all travel. Keep accurate records and submit expense reports in a timely manner

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in media content development
  • Working knowledge of television production and post-production
  • Strong videography and editing skills
  • Creative thinker with strong story-telling skills
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
  • Proficient with video-editing software systems
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Self-starter with ability to take instructions and follow-through to completion
  • Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
  • Ability to travel
