Position Description

(One-year contract position)


To faithfully serve the Alliance family as we strive to be Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered and Mission-focused.


To process income received from all sources for the C&MA in Canada. This includes cheques, cash, on-line, canteen, petty cash and any other income.


Reports directly to: Controller

Works closely with the following:

Internal Contacts: Coordinator of Finance, Donor Services Department, GM RSC’s, NMC Staff
External Contacts: Individual donors and Churches



Daily Mail

  • Receives and distributes incoming mail for the finance department
  • Processes cheques, cash and direct deposits from individuals and churches
  • Prepares the daily deposit slip and deposits cheques into CIBC using eDeposit
  • Process online donations from Canada Helps every Friday


  • Prepares and processes daily receipt batches
  • Reconciles daily batches with deposit slips
  • Processes daily donation batch sheet info into SUMAC and ACCPAC
  • Updates daily income report
  • Prints church acknowledgment for churches and gift letters for donors


  • Generates and prints monthly donation reports for file purpose


  • Responsible for preparing deposit slip for funds received from canteen
  • Prepares Cash Voucher for the Canteen

Month End Reconciliation

  • Reconciles data entered in Sumac with ACCPAC
  • Reconciles data in ACCPAC with Income Report
  • All must be done within 3 business days following last day of the month


  • Files all batches, remittance forms and cash voucher forms at the end of every month
  • Provides assistance to other finance staff, when required

National Ministry Centre Support

  • Relieves National Ministry Centre Reception, as required
  • Completes other duties as required
