Position Description

Reporting to the Centre Operations Director, the Partner Relations Coordinator is responsible for managing relations for mass, monthly, event and online donors using a best-practices approach in support of Atwell Centre’s goals. A secondary duty is data management.

  • Reporting to: Centre Operations Director
  • Work Centre: Office or Virtual as required
  • Compensation: As agreed
  • Hours: Part-time

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Plan and implement recognition and appreciation programs to thank, reinforce and maintain long-term relationships with donors and volunteers
  • Update all donor data on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy for each donor
  • Implement and maintain new donor relationship management system
  • Assist and implement centre and donor events
  • Manage the monthly donor program with a goal to encourage greater participation
  • Provide reports to the director as required
  • Liaise with Executive Director to track donations and effectiveness of donation drives, maintain database accuracy, print reports for donor follow up, etc.
  • Phone calls to thank donors as required weekly
  • Make recommendations on improvements as requested.
  • Assist the Director with other duties as called upon

Qualifications:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in fundraising, public relations, marketing or related field and a minimum of three years’ experience in fund development team
  • Proficiency in the use of a computer, advanced knowledge and use of databases, internet and email fundamentals using Outlook/Exchange, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint
  • Superior accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and set deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Solid interpersonal and communications skills (including oral, written and visual)
  • An understanding of Christian ministry and the non-profit sector
  • Demonstrated professional appearance and conduct
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
