Position Description

Purpose Statement:

To facilitate a high-trust, fast-paced and fun staff team environment that supports the contributions of each team member and the general responsibility of the Church Life Team.   

Reports to: Adult Ministries Team Lead 


  • General administrative support for the Church Life Team and Ministries [Seniors, Groups, Alpha, Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals, Care, Seniors, Child Blessings, etc]
  • Manage all general communication and communication systems with church family, staff, volunteers and other church connections for the Church Life Team
  • Create and manage Team Asana Projects 
  • Process and oversee registration for all events
  • Assist with the planning and overseeing of Church Life training, events, meetings 
  • Submit promotion requests to and coordinate promotion schedules with the Digital and Gatherings Teams
  • Coordinate credit card reconciliation and other financial requests
  • Administratively support Community Groups [monthly emails, assist with zoom set up, etc]
  • Coordinate distribution of group curriculum to staff and group leaders
  • Update Google Calendar and Big Dates Calendar with Church Life Events
  • Attend and support team meetings
  • Manage the day to day budget of the Church Life Team
  • Assist the Adult Ministries Team Lead with Budget Forecasting and Planning 
  • Lead the Gathering Guest Service Team [coordination of volunteers for foyer & Next Steps]
  • Develop and manage a healthy volunteer base 
  • Responsible for leading and managing all Church Life events including the Annual Members Meeting, Summer Bash, GLS and any other events put on and/or supported by the Church Life team
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Church Life Team or Lead Pastor

Job Requirements

  • Experience in handling a wide range of administrative duties and executive support-related tasks
  • Fluent in English verbal and written skills
  • Ability to take initiative, problem-solve and make decisions within the job scope
  • Good understanding of processes, policies and procedures
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task without supervision
  • A creative mind with a heart to serve the church

Work Schedule

35 hours per week [Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday] and Sundays 3 hours
