Position Description

ICALC Learning Centre is a Christian tutoring school. We provide high-quality academic support to students from grades 1 to 12. We are currently looking for part-time teachers who can teach G11, G12, and AP Chemistry and  Biology.

Hourly Rate: $40-$55

Responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of the curriculum
• Be able to explain the concepts clearly to students
• Assign and grade classwork, homework, tests and assignments
• Develop the curriculum outline and course content
• Strong ability to organize and multi-task
• Strong English language written and oral communication skills

Academic and Other Qualifications

• More than two years of teaching experience
• Master degree or above with a Science Focus
• Prior teaching experience or equivalent in education, tutoring, mentoring, and homeschooling are assets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have passion and vision on the young generation
• Be a role model in attitude, speech, and actions towards others
