Videographer / Photographer

Company: InterVarsity Pioneer Camp Ontario
Location/Address:
942 Clearwater Lake Road
Port Sydney, Ontario

Position Description

Passionate about both ministry and videography/photography?

InterVarsity Pioneer Camp Ontario, located in Muskoka, is seeking to hire videographers and photographers for their various summer ministries and operations. InterVarsity’s mission is the transformation of youth, students and graduates, in all their ethnic diversity, into fully committed followers of Jesus Christ.

In alignment with this purpose, videographers will help capture the incredible experiences of our campers. They will capture footage, interact with campers, be a part of the ministry that goes on (with opportunities to care for campers, help run games, teach activities, help facilitate Bible studies, and build strong relationships that point to Christ), and edit videos that will be available for campers to take home with them at the end of each week. Our camps run overnight for the months of July and August, with opportunity for employment in May and June as well. Each summer we have thousands of campers attend our programming, anywhere from ages 5-16. Some of our programs include...

  • Adventure Camp (co-ed campers, ages 5-10)
  • Boys Camp (boys, ages 11-16)
  • Girls Camp (girls, ages 11-16)
  • LIT (Leaders In Training) (co-ed, ages 15-16)

If you want to be plugged into an environment that will stretch you, experience a community that will encourage you, have the opportunity to see the firsthand the transformation of lives as campers encounter Christ, and be provided with skills and experiences that will help shape you into the person that God has made you to be, then working at Pioneer for the summer may be for you! To learn more about the various opportunities that exist, we'd encourage you to check out our website or to fill out an application. Please also note that we have had Redeemer students from various departments serve at camp in the past and receive internship credits for doing so.

If you have any questions about any of our programs, please contact Dylan Knibbe (dknibbe@pioneercamp.ca).
