Our Mission/Vision

WGA’s vision is to build a gathering of believers who worship with passion; advance in the knowledge, understanding, and application of the Word; and reach unbelievers with the truth and salvation offered in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. WGA exists to exalt Christ, equip believers, and expand His kingdom.

This is currently being accomplished by:

We are aiming to expand in the following areas:

  • Establishing spiritual leadership to reflect the New Testament Church like in Titus 1:5, in the direction of elders and deacons
  • Establishing a youth ministry, to cater to the youth in the church and reach out to the youth in the city
  • Partnering with local churches in order to build relationships and share the Gospel in the local community

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Fostering relationships with the church members, to recognize their gifts of the Spirit and encourage them in their ministry
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of all church ministry programs and alongside ministry leaders
  • Make a conscious effort to meet new visitors

  • To cooperate with other Christian Ministry Leaders in our region

  • To exercise church discipline and settle any disputes in consultation with the elders and the board
  • Conduct regular check up meetings with the elders in order to support their spiritual growth
