About Us:

At Logos Baptist Church Mississauga, we are a tri-congregational (three languages) community located in West Mississauga. Our church consists of Cantonese, Mandarin, and English congregations, are all working together as one large family under the leadership of Senior Pastor.  We are a mid-sized church with a combined weekly attendance of 300+.

Our church’s unified mission is to carry out the Great Commission in the spirit and heart of the Great Commandment. We highly value the roles of evangelism and discipleship in the development and maturity of a church. We believe a healthy church is identified by its sending and serving capacity rather than its seating capacity. While each congregation has its unique approach to this, our vision, heart, and passion are the same. We strive to Love God and Love others.

About the position: 

This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities: 

Lead a tri-congregational (tri-lingual) pastoral team to shepherd the congregations and equip the saints

What we are looking for:

Theology: Evangelical denomination background and recognition of Baptist belief and polity

Language: Fluent in Cantonese and English, Mandarin is an asset

Experience: More than seven years of pastoral experience in churches with multicultural backgrounds in North America

Gifts and Burdens:

• Gifts of preaching and teaching
• Burden to save souls: training and motivating the congregation to evangelize
• Equipping the Saints:  Disciple the congregation to grow in Christian maturity

Education:

Master of Divinity degree or higher from an accredited seminary
