Position Description

Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church, Richmond Hill, Ontario, is seeking a Director of Music/Organist to assume choral and music leadership.

The sanctuary has a well maintained historic 2-manual Casavant pipe organ and a 6’ Schimmel Grand Piano. 
The position will include, but is not limited to providing organ and choral music for Sunday worship services and special services during the year (Christmas eve, Christmas day, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and any other services that the Session approves), as well as conducting choir practice weekly (September to end of June).  A variety of modern worship songs, contemporary worship music, and traditional styles are encouraged.

It is estimated that this part-time position will require 10-12 hours per week. 

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and will reflect RCCO guidelines.
