Creative and Media Arts Associate

Calvary Baptist Church Oshawa is looking for a Creative and Media Arts Associate to join our Ministry Team. At Calvary we take the Great Commission seriously and promise people who connect with us that our ministry model will be about Making Disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe that Christ will grow the church (Matt. 16:18) and that we are commanded to make disciples (Matt. 28:19-20).

We are looking for a candidate for this full-time position who is a deeply devoted and committed follower of Jesus and is passionate about seeing God’s kingdom advance. With a proven creative track record of using technology and media to champion vision and accomplish mission, this team player will need to be (or become) an active member of Calvary and fully engaged in our priorities of worship, community and advance of the gospel.

Key Responsibilities include video/photography production, graphic design, web/app maintenance, social media creation/management and marketing/communications.

The candidate needs to be proficient in Adobe Suite (Premier Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Indesign) and Microsoft Office Suite.

A working knowledge of HTML, Canva and Propresenter is desired.

Strong communication skills with creative experience in video/photography production and graphic design is required. Additional experience with website/social media management, corporate communications/marketing and publishing (physical and digital) is preferred.
