Position Description

To assist in the planning and leading of special summer programs for the church.

• 8 Weeks / 34 Hours per week
• Pay Rate: $17.20/hour

Responsibilities:

• Community Sports Outreach (Upward Sports)
  • To arrange volunteers to assist in the programs
  • To prepare activities to be used in programming
  • To be a hands-on leader, teacher and supervisor of the children
• Assist with VBS and VBS Sunday.
• To plan and lead a children’s church program on Sunday mornings.
• To participate in the Sunday morning worship event.
• To prepare activities with seniors in the church and community.
• Assist in office work and administration as needed.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings.
• Perform the tasks associated with lawn care.
• Over 18 needs a police check.

Hours:

• Monday to Wednesday, 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM
• Thursday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sundays 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM.
• Staff meetings are every Thursday at 2:00 PM.
• Off Fridays and Saturdays
• VBS Week (Tuesday – Friday)
