DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Pastor to lead our church community towards spiritual growth and fulfillment. The successful candidate will provide visionary leadership, teach, and preach the Word of God, and cultivate a culture of service. The Pastor will also be responsible for administrating ordinances, providing pastoral care, and overseeing the overall ministry of the church.

OVERVIEW OF CHURCH AND COMMUNITY

Bethany Baptist Church has a rich history that dates to 1952, when a group of devoted believers came together to establish their own Baptist community in the area. Before constructing the present church building in 1992 at 382 Centrepointe, the Bethany congregation worshiped in two other buildings on Baseline Road. Bethany Baptist Church belongs to the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ), the Ottawa Baptist Association (OBA), and recently celebrated our 72nd anniversary.
