Position Description

Church Background:

Mississauga Christ Life Community Church (MCLCC) - a Chinese based church, was formed on July 2017 with English ministry (EM) in Mississauga Ontario Canada. MCLCC is evangelical bases, believe in Bible and Jesus Christ is our LORD and savior. EM has about 30 congregation vs 150 congregation in Chinese Ministry. The EM currently has one adult small group, a youth fellowship and youth Sunday school. We are looking for a passionate God's servant with strong Youth ministry skill to develop the English ministry.

Qualifications:

• Meets character requirements of a biblical elder (1 Tim. 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9; 1 Peter 5:1-5)
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical and/or Pastoral studies from an accredited university or seminary
• Minimum 2 years of English ministry experience in church
• Demonstrated spiritual gifts of pastoring, shepherding and evangelism as found in Ephesians 4:11-13
• Preferably able to communicate in mandarin
• Has strong relational and counselling skills
• Demonstrates proficient leadership in youth ministry
• Provide three external references
• Supply validated police check record
• Primary Responsibilities:
• Occasional pulpit sermons, preaching and teaching
• Supports worship setup
• Supports youth ministry
• Supports relationship building among English congregation and members of all ages
• Supports evangelistic outreach to our community
