Position Description

TIME COMMITMENT: Full Time, 37.5 hours weekly

SALARY: $54,900 - $68,500

DURATION: Permanent

LOCATION: Office located in Grimsby, Ontario; Hybrid Office/Remote

Role & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and providing supervision and direction to the Marketing Project Coordinator, the Marketing Project Manager contributes to the Marketing team by managing and coordinating team objectives and supporting fundraising initiatives. The incumbent should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. The role may also provide additional support to Bible League Canada internal stakeholders outside the Marketing team.

Specific responsibilities within the above areas include:

Project Management:

  • Provide oversight of and strategic focus on Marketing projects to meet goals and objectives for supported departments.
  • Oversee Marketing projects in real-time as information changes.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally, and provide updates on projects when required.
  • Oversee project progress and record milestone completion to ensure on time and on brief delivery of all Marketing Projects.
  • Support Marketing Team with task completion.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to the identification of process improvements and recommendations.
  • Ensure strategic goals are converted into Asana projects with actionable tasks and assignees directly related to goal completion; provide regular status updates.
  • Collaborate with all teams regarding touchpoints and deliverables, ensuring that the Ministry Advancement calendar is developed in advance, including project drop dates and campaign deliverables list.

Marketing Administration:

  • Manage print process for Marketing campaigns with Marketing Project Coordinator support.
  • Reviewing Print Ready Files + Print Proofs.
  • Spot check and approve variable data.

Reporting

  • Collate Development Team collateral such as talking points, project summaries and thank you language.

Meeting Facilitation

  • Facilitate and participate in Marketing meetings to evaluate progress on projects and record areas of improvement.
  • Manage campaign debrief meetings to ensure that campaign successes and challenges are discussed between team leaders and implemented in future projects.
  • Provide meeting facilitation support.

File Management

  • Maintain and update Marketing file storage including SharePoint, Asana, Dropbox, Content Hub.
  • Enforce file naming conventions.

Other duties as specified when required.

Education and professional accreditation:

  • Education must include a Community College Certificate at minimum. Preference given to applicants with Project Management Professional certification or a Certified Associate in Project Management credential.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years in a professional office setting, with prior management experience.
  • Experience and proven abilities in providing administrative support to internal & external stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a non-profit organization is a strong asset.

Technical Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite; Asana work management platform skills.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite/InDesign an asset.

Interpersonal Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing conditions, shifting priorities.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and work well in a busy environment.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information.

Required Commitment:

  • Knowledge of and a passion for Bible League Canada and its work.
  • In fulfilling your responsibilities, you will be required to participate in chapel and pray for and minister to people who contact Bible League Canada either in person, or by phone or other electronic communication, in general inquiries, at conferences and events or fundraising activities.
