Position Description

The Campus Church is seeking an experienced Youth Pastor to join our expanding youth ministry team. This candidate needs to be an individual who will collaboratively work to nurture and grow two thriving youth congregations across our multisite programming. We are looking for an individual who has a strong passion for guiding and mentoring young people in their faith journey, fostering a welcoming Christ centered environment, and developing engaging programs. This role requires at least five years of relevant experience and a degree in Biblical Studies and Theology or an equivalent degree.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Vision:

  • Provide spiritual leadership and vision for the youth ministry, aligning with the overall mission and values of Campus Church.
  • Collaborate with the existing youth ministry team to develop and implement a strategic plan that supports growth and engagement across all campuses.
  • Program Development and Execution:
  • Design and oversee youth programs, events, and activities that foster spiritual growth, community, and service.
  • Work closely with the multisite team to ensure consistency and quality of youth programming across all locations.

Teaching and Mentorship:

  • Prepare and deliver biblically sound and culturally relevant teachings for youth gatherings.
  • Mentor and disciple youth, providing guidance and support in their personal and spiritual lives.
  • Volunteer Management:
  • Recruit, train, and equip a team of volunteer leaders to assist in various aspects of the youth ministry.
  • Provide ongoing support and development opportunities for volunteers to enhance their effectiveness.

Community and Outreach:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents, schools, and community organizations to support the holistic development of the youth.
  • Plan and lead outreach initiatives that encourage youth participation in service projects and evangelistic efforts.

Administration:

  • Manage the youth ministry budget, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of program attendance, events, and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all church policies and procedures, particularly those related to child safety and protection.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in Biblical Studies, Theology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in youth ministry or a similar role.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop and implement youth programs in a multisite context.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with young people and their families.
  • Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Passion for discipleship and a deep commitment to fostering spiritual growth in young people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers.
  • Proficient in using technology and social media to enhance youth ministry.
