10 Talents is a US-based 501c3 Christian not-for-profit organization that multiplies the global impact of ministries. 10 Talents is looking to add a team member to aid in the administrative support needed for our various ministry projects.

The Donation Administrator manages the people,  systems, and processes that will maximize financial support for our client organizations. This role involves ensuring accurate record-keeping of all donor information and contributions, tracking and managing all donor communication, assigning donor rep caseloads, and managing the donor reps and their activities. The Donation Manager works closely with the Director of Development and other team members to achieve the organization's fundraising goals.

Position Overview:

10 Talents is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Major Donor Administrator to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing relationships with our program reps, ensuring accurate communication and system flow. The ideal candidate will uphold the values of our Christian mission and work diligently to advance our philanthropic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Major Donor Rep Relations and Communication:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with Global Major Donor Representatives, ensuring timely and personalized communication.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in response to donor inquiries and requests from reps.

Proposal Development & Library Enrichment:

  • Collaborate with donor reps, program staff, and communications team to ensure we deliver compelling proposals and timely fulfillment reports to donors.
  • Ensure all proposals align with the organization’s mission, goals, and donor interests.
  • Ensure all proposals are up-to-date and relevant 

Donation Processing and Record Keeping:

  • Develop and maintain accurate donor profiles that contain all relevant information available.
  • Accurately record all incoming donations, maintaining up-to-date records in the CRM donor database.
  • Prepare and send acknowledgment letters, receipts, and other correspondence to donors promptly and accurately.

Fulfillment Reports:

  • Generate & manage detailed and accurate fulfillment reports for major donors, outlining the impact of their contributions.
  • Work with program staff to gather relevant data and stories that illustrate the outcomes of funded projects.
  • Schedule and conduct regular updates with donor reps to keep them informed of project progress and impact, as well as hold them accountable for outstanding tasks.

Acknowledgments:

  • Oversee the creation and distribution of timely acknowledgment materials, including thank-you letters, recognition plaques, and other tokens of appreciation.

Database Management:

  • Maintain and update donor information in the organization’s CRM system.
  • Produce regular reports on donor activity, fundraising progress, and other relevant metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is an asset but not required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, or nonprofit administration, sales, or customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in donor management software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, HubSpot) and Google Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of a Christian nonprofit organization.
  • Familiarity with best practices in nonprofit fundraising, donor stewardship, sales, or customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Christian faith-based environment.
  • Teachable and willing to learn.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with major donor reps, donors, and stakeholders.
