Position Description

Niagara Life Centre is seeking an energetic, qualified, individual to be our Fund Developer & Sponsorship Coordinator! If you have leadership skills in fundraising, and enjoy building dynamic connections to raise funds for a worthy cause, this position is for you. 

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and building strong connections with our donor community
• Coordinating fundraising events 
• Managing and growing our Business Sponsorship Program
• Cultivating new ways of gaining financial partnerships with our community

This is a part time, contract position totalling 28 hours per week, with a flexible schedule.

We provide practical and compassionate care through low fee counselling services, guidance and support for the emotional, social, physical and spiritual needs of those we serve.

Qualifications:

• College Diploma or University Degree in Event Planning OR 3-5 years social networking experience
• Ability to coordinate and manage various fundraising events
• Ability to work independently and as a team and prioritize a wide variety of tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills with people of all ages
• Problem solving skills
• Willingness to work with sensitivity within a diverse cultural and theological milieu
• Willingness to work non standard hours during heavy event seasons including extra days and weekends leading up to these major events
