Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week. (Hybrid)
Mandatory Meetings: Staff meetings every Tuesday, 9 AM–1 PM.
Location: ClearView Christian Reformed Church, Oakville, ON
Salary range: $22,880 - $28,080 ($22-27/hour)

Position Summary

ClearView Church is hiring a Digital Ministry Director to help amplify the work God is doing at ClearView and provide greater access to our community through digital means. 

The Digital Ministry Director is a key strategic leader who will be responsible to develop and direct the online engagement and digital ministry of ClearView Church.

The Digital Ministry Director has a pastoral heart, a creative eye, and a skill for telling stories through media. They should understand visual trends and use modern design, technology, and media to amplify the story of the gospel and demonstrate how God is at work at ClearView. This person works collaboratively with the ministry staff and volunteers to implement digital strategies, generate content, and move people towards engagement in following Jesus.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Strategy: Develop and execute ClearView’s digital engagement strategy to reach and grow our online audience.
• Content Creation: Lead the production of media for platforms such as podcasts, YouTube, social media, and the church website.
• Collaboration: Work with ministry staff to create digital content supporting various programs and initiatives.
• Community Engagement: Actively engage with ClearView’s online audience to foster participation and discipleship.
• Team Leadership: Recruit and lead a Digital Engagement Team to support content creation and execution.
• IT Oversight: Work with and manage an IT Committee to maintain digital tools and platforms
• Ministry Participation: Serve as an active member of the ministry staff, including attending mandatory staff meetings and events.

Qualifications and Experience 

• A commitment to ClearView’s mission: "Equipping everyone to take the next steps in following Jesus Christ" through discipling, worshipping, and blessing.
• Proficient in Google WorkSpace, Zoom, Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram), YouTube
• Familiar with digital platforms such as Adobe, Propresenter, Vmix, Riverside fm
• Strong collaborative and team-working skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant work (e.g., video/audio editing, social media content, graphic design, website development).
