Full Time, June 2025 - June 2026

The Mission of Hope Church and its Family Ministry

Hope Church exists to introduce people to Jesus, deepen our faith, and serve others at home and around the world. The Family Ministry Pastor serves this mission by faithfully and consistently leading our Kids and Youth in building a foundation for their faith and giving them opportunities to connect with each other. We strongly believe that Kids and Youth aren’t the future of the church but are the church right now.

Position Information

• From June 2025 – June 2026.
• Hope Church’s Family Ministry Pastor will be away on maternity leave
  Hope Church’s Family Ministry also has a part-time administrator, reporting to the Family Ministry Pastor

Preferred Qualifications

• A theological degree or equivalent ministry training
• Familiarity with Planning Center Online
• Experience in various forms of Digital communication

Responsibilities 

• Encourage and train volunteers in Hope Church Kids and Student Ministries
• Communicate with and encourage parents
• Coordinate programming on Sundays from Birth to Grade 5
• Coordinate a weekly youth event for JR. and Sr High. Students
• Think outside the box of traditional ministry models

You’ll also need to be able to:

• Help implement our church-wide mission
• Develop and maintain systems that scale and grow
• Lead and Develop Teams
• Communicate well

Job Requirements

• A commitment to Jesus & alignment with Hope Church’s mission
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Experience working with kids and/or youth in a ministry setting
• A passion for cultivating spiritual growth and community
• Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers and families
• A “Mission over Method” mindset

Other Information

• Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Full Time 40 hours per week
