Position Description

Toronto Simpson Chinese Alliance Church is looking for a dedicated Senior Pastor to guide our congregation and provide spiritual leadership. The Senior Pastor will lead Ministry Pastors, providing vision and direction for fulfilling the Great Commission locally and beyond. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and a passion for teaching faith, effectively communicating messages of hope and support in a welcoming environment.

General Qualifications

• Servant leadership capabilities to guide and inspire both individuals and groups within the church.
• A commitment to educating others about faith and spirituality through various teaching methods.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse audiences in a meaningful way.
• Exceptional public speaking skills with the ability to present messages clearly and effectively.
• Experience or knowledge in hospice care is a plus, demonstrating compassion in sensitive situations.
• Fluency in English, Fluency in Cantonese an asset

Education

Theological training: Master of Divinity in an Evangelical bible seminary

Experience Required

10+ years of Pastoral experience.

Experience in a multi-cultural congregation desirable
