Family & Community Ministry Internship
Family & Community Ministry Internship
Toronto, Ontario , M5M 2E2
Position Description
The Church of St. Timothy is a vibrant, diverse, and welcoming Christian community in North Toronto. We are a parish that is rooted in, and seeks to sustain and reflect, the Anglican tradition. We are committed to living our faith in Jesus Christ through open hearts, open minds, and open arms.
St. Timothy is currently inviting applications for an internship in Children, Youth, and Community ministry. The internship will begin no later than August 2025, and an earlier commencement is also possible.
This is a part time position, with hours to be determined based on the experience, qualifications, and interests of the applicant. The term will be for one year, and is renewable at the end of that period.
The applicant will need to be present and available at St. Timothy on Sunday mornings. The work schedule during the week is flexible, and may be determined in consultation with the applicant upon hiring.
This internship will provide the successful applicant with an opportunity to explore and develop an interest in working with families and/or communities, particularly in the context of Christian ministry. There will be opportunities to collaborate with, and be mentored by, the clergy and staff of St. Timothy.
We hope to identify an applicant who will join our team of staff and volunteers in continuing to develop a safe, friendly, nurturing, and welcoming environment at St. Timothy for our families and local community. This position requires working closely with the staff, volunteers, and parents of the children and youth. Energetic, friendly, and collaborative engagement with all these constituencies is strongly encouraged!
Please feel free to contact the Rev. Irina Dubinsky by email at priest@sttimothy.ca with any questions that you may have about this internship.
