Position Description

We are seeking a high capacity, highly organized and passionate individual to join our team as the Children’s Ministry Assistant Coordinator. This role requires a motivated team player with a heart for children, and the ability to help create an inclusive and engaging environment for all kids, including those with special needs while leading and engaging with a large group of adult and youth volunteers. 

The position is 20-30 hours per week with the expectation of volunteering above and beyond these hours.  

From an organizational perspective, the Children’s Ministry Assistant coordinator reports to the Director of Children & Youth Ministries.  From a weekly programming perspective, the Children’s Ministry Assistant Coordinator reports to the Children’s Ministry Coordinator and together they ensure that weekly ministry is being delivered with excellence. Essentially, the Children’s Ministry Coordinator and Children’s Ministry Assistant Coordinator work together to complement each other’s role, allowing each to thrive in their gifting.
