Position Description

Pioneer Camp Ontario, located in Muskoka, is seeking to fill a permanent full-time registrar position.  InterVarsity’s mission is to cultivate welcoming and witnessing communities that nurture growing faith in Jesus through the crucial years.  In alignment with this purpose, the Registrar is responsible for managing registration processes with efficiency and care. This role is instrumental in ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience for campers and their families, thereby supporting the broader ministry goals of Ontario Pioneer Camp.

Position Details:

  • Status/Type: Regular Full-Time (RFT)
  • Deadline: Open until filled
  • Location: Port Sydney, ON
  • Salary & Benefits: Annual salary range: $37,931 - $41,718. Extended Health and Dental, Life, ADD and LTD, RRSP and, upon eligibility, matching RPP
  • Vacation: 10 days per annum

Qualifications: 

  • Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to grow as a follower of Christ
  • A strong understanding of and commitment to InterVarsity’s mission and ministry goals
  • Proficiency with Campbrain or similar camp registration management software
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service
  • High attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, particularly in service to camper families
  • Post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
  • A minimum of two years' experience in administration, customer service, or registration-related roles (nonprofit or camp experience an asset).
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and extended hours during peak periods.
  • Fun-loving and flexible attitude
  • A valid “G” driver’s license
