Position Description

RockPointe Church is a large, multi-site church located in greater Calgary, Alberta and part of The Alliance Canada denomination. Currently we are seeking a full time Executive Pastor of Ministries. The role of the Executive Pastor of Ministries (XPM) is a two-hat, matrix role, that will directly oversee ministry staff at the Bearspaw location, as well as champion the creation and execution of RockPointe Church’s discipleship strategy and the RPC Playbook. The XPM will work primarily through the various Site Pastors and the Central Ministry Team in the execution of discipleship strategy and central ministry alignment.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is a builder and visionary to help shape both the present and future of RockPointe Church. By blending executive leadership skills and local ministry, the XPM will help build the foundation for RPC’s vision of Doubling Our Reach by 2030, ultimately transitioning into a fully strategic/central leadership role as the ministry multiplies.
