Position Description

New Hope Fellowship (NHF) is a tri-campus English Ministry of Light Presbyterian Church (LPC) based in Mississauga, Downtown Toronto, and Uptown Toronto (Ontario, Canada). NHF seeks to be a community that responds to the love and lordship of Jesus Christ by embodying a gospel-centred, missional spirituality. NHF is under the English Presbytery of the Korean Presbyterian Church of Abroad (www.kpcaep.org/).

NHF Uptown is located specifically in the North York area. It is a growing congregation of ~80 adult covenant members with an average weekly attendance of ~120 (~40 children). Most of the congregation are in the age of 20s to 40s.

NHF Uptown’s expanding leadership team currently consists of one lead pastor (this posted role), one Children’s Ministry director, two elders, and seven deacons. NHF Uptown’s leadership team works within the overall NHF Session.

This is an opportunity for the incumbent to collaborate with a team of pastors, elders and deacons across multiple campuses to build the Uptown community in Christ, based on Scripture and led by the Spirit in humility and servant-leadership.
