Position Description

Kortright Presbyterian Church is seeking a full-time Church Administrator to help lead and support the administrative, financial, and operational life of our church. This key role supports the staff, volunteers, and leadership teams in fulfilling our mission to be rooted in Jesus, growing as a community, and becoming trusted neighbours. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day church office operations and communication
  • Provide administrative support to staff, committees, and volunteers
  • Coordinate scheduling, records, and internal systems (Planning Center)
  • Oversee day-to-day financial tasks (invoicing, budgets, donations, Sage software)
  • Maintain internal databases and assist with HR onboarding
  • Support building operations, rentals, and facility management

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Administrative experience in a church or nonprofit setting preferred
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn Sage accounting software and Planning Center
  • Comfortable working with digital tools, records, and systems
  • A collaborative, proactive, and hospitable spirit
