Position Description
Social Media Coordinator (Part-Time, Remote)
8–10 hours/month | Remote | 1-year Contract Position
Edvance is a dynamic, not-for-profit industry association serving Christian schools in Eastern Canada. We are currently seeking a creative and reliable Social Media Coordinator to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. In this role, you'll support our mission by helping bring our stories to life online and strengthening our digital presence across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
About the Role
Reporting to the Marketing and Engagement Manager, the Social Media Coordinator will:
- Create engaging and visually consistent graphics using supplied content.
- Schedule and publish posts across our social media channels.
- Maintain alignment with our brand voice and visual identity.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Engagement Manager to ensure timely and strategic posting.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience using design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, etc.).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- A proactive and collaborative communicator.
- A passion for storytelling and an interest in the Christian education space.
Compensation:
This is a 1-year contract position compensated at $25/hour for approximately 8–10 hours per month.
This role is ideal for a freelancer, student, or creative professional looking to contribute to meaningful work in a flexible and low-hour commitment.
