Position Description

Role Summary

The Office Manager & Bookkeeper will oversee administrative operations and financial stewardship, ensuring excellence in both ministry and management. This role requires a deep personal faith, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations with professionalism and grace
  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and PowerChurch
  • Oversee the requisition process for ministry departments, ensuring compliance and budget alignment
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for leadership and board review
  • Coordinate ministry schedules, communications, and internal workflows
  • Support events and media productions with logistical and administrative oversight
  • Maintain organized filing systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and office administration, preferably in a ministry or nonprofit setting
  • Mandatory proficiency in QuickBooks, PowerChurch, and requisition procedures
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a faith-filled team environment
  • High level of integrity and discretion

Qualifications

Diploma, Associate/Bachelors degree in accounting and bookkeeping

  • Schedule: Full-time (based on ministry needs)
