Position Description

Part-Time, 15 hours per week.  Contract.  POSSIBLE EXTENSION and increase of hours.

General:  Administrative Asst. for French and English

Location:  Work remote, must-have home office

Reports to:  Director of Policy, Communication and Consulting

Primary Responsibilities

  • Service French-speaking customers by answering phone inquiries, correspondence, taking phone orders, entering orders from phone calls, email, or fax
  • Assists as needed with French member welcomes, and support calls
  • Assists with customer service and homework assignments for students in our certification courses
  • Translation, layout and design of publications and newsletters in French
  • Assists with website updates
  • Participates on the team responsible for translating, reviewing and publishing our French materials (Plan to Protect® manual, training material, correspondence)
  • Promotes the services and resources to a French market
  • Data entry and assists with the upkeep and maintenance of database (SalesForce)
  • As requested, assists with member discontinuation exit interviews in French
  • Build lasting and sustaining relationships with customers. Always be ready to go the extra mile to answer questions thoroughly and professionally
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards and grow/enhance customer satisfaction
  • Supports event planning and execution
  • Attends staff meetings and/or regional meetings
  • Complies with company policies
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Submit timesheets and expense forms on a monthly basis per policy

Experience, Qualifications and Skills Needed

  • 3 years experience working in an office setting
  • Post-secondary school
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and oral - essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy work environment
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Salesforce experience preferred)
