Position Description

Basic Qualifications

• Doctrinally aligned with the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) Statement of Faith.
• Master of Divinity Degree or its equivalent in theological education from an accredited institution.
• Formally ordained for pastoral ministry.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English.

Spiritual Gifts and Experiences

• Gifting in the areas of teaching and preaching the Word of God.
• Gifting in spiritual leadership in a North American, multi-generational and multi-cultural church context.

Calling

• Strong calling from God to make disciples and to proclaim the Gospel.
• Strong calling from God to reach out to the Mandarin speaking community.
• Strong calling from God to care for the spiritual growth of the next generation Christians.
