The Met has an opening for an Administrative Assistant who is a mature Christian who can provide support to our ministry staff and volunteers. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, usually 8:30am to 4:30pm, with occasional weekend and evening availability required.
Tasks include setting up ministry events in The Met’s PCO database including registration and attendance check-in, and providing support during events; preparing, editing and/or proofreading correspondence, presentations, and reports using MS Office and Adobe Suite; responding independently to basic congregational inquiries via phone, email and text and database updates.
Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills, mastery of English grammar, proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Suite, and a high degree of tact and discretion are required.
